Help us expand Q U A RR Y!

Hello everyone,

Q U A RRY has been open since August and we are incredibly grateful for all the support we have had so far from patrons, artists, and creatives in the city. Your continued encouragement and enthusiasm have meant the world to us, and we'd like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! 

 

Listening to your feedback, it has become clear to us that further renovations are necessary to better utilize our space and provide the best attendee experience possible. Primarily, these renovations include (1) installing an additional fire exit at the rear of the venue (with access to a new shielded smoking area), and (2) constructing an additional toilet block outside. 

These renovations will allow us to host higher capacity events both safely and comfortably, without interfering with our currently accessible facilities and entrance.

 

At present, we are in the process of applying for an Arts Council grant to fund these new renovations. However, because this is a long process with no guarantees, we are once again asking for support from the community to allow us to begin our building work as scheduled. 

 

We will be undergoing these renovations throughout January with the intention of reopening fully to the public from February, bigger and better than before! Please donate if you can, and we'll see you all on the dancefloor!

Q U A RR Y is a live music venue, recording studio, and multimedia arts space located underneath Liverpool's historic railway arches, open since February 2020.

Set up by the team behind Quarry Recording Studio and SPINE, Quarry is a response to a lack of diversity rising in Liverpool's music events as a result of the closure of important grassroots venues and clubs since 2010. Organizing a range of events, from experimental music to live theatre, the team's ethos is to provide a consistently revolving line-up of new music in an accessible and safe space for Merseyside's creative communities.
