Hi, I'm D'Angelo, founder of inPstockRx . As someone who's experienced having to call multiple pharmacies to find my meds, I've experiences firsthand the devastating impact of medication shortages on people with ADHD.
The problem is heartbreaking and far too common. About 1 in 5 adults have arrived at their pharmacy only to hear those dreaded words: "Sorry, we don't have your medication in stock." For someone with ADHD, this isn't just an inconvenience—it's the beginning of a nightmare.
When this happens, patients face an impossible choice:
- call dozens of pharmacies (which is especially challenging with executive dysfunction)
- go without medication, or return to their doctor for a new prescription.
- Many end up waiting days or weeks without treatment, leading to job losses, damaged relationships, and declining mental health.
I created inPstockRx to end this pharmacy runaround once and for all. Our platform will enable prescribers to check medication availability before sending prescriptions, ensuring patients can get their medications without the anxiety, phone calls, and delays they currently endure.
