Help Us Create an Amazing TV Show!

Hi Everyone,

I'm Todd Hansen. You know me as the creator and host of The Story Trek. It was a life-changing show for so many people.

Sadly, that show is gone, and I no longer have a network to fund my new show, so I need your help!

If you trust that I know what I'm doing, and I hope you do based on your ongoing loyalty and the multiple Emmy awards I've won with The Story Trek, I'm asking you to trust that You Got a Story will be even better. Can you imagine that it would be even better? The old show was magical, but I've ironed out the parts where it struggled. So yes, this new show will be much like the old one, but even better. Just like The Story Trek was a lot like my news segments Trippin' with Todd, but better. Do you see how it just keeps getting better?

Here's the problem, I can't fund this on my own. If I could, I would have been doing this for the past several years. Since The Story Trek ended, finding an income has been a significant struggle. I won't go into the sob story details, but the world shutting down didn't help. People like me who provide video services were not allowed inside of...well..anywhere for quite some time.

I have never asked for money before. I have never needed to. I was blessed to have a show fully funded by BYUtv. That's gone. I hate it. That's life. But the show had such an incredible impact on many people that these stories need to come back.

No, this will not air on BYUtv. I have a great relationship with them, but they are not airing my new show. What I produce is "older" than the 8-15-year-old demographic they are targeting as a network...even though many kids love my old show. The show will be streamed on Facebook, Youtube, and www.YouGotAStory.com, and when we get episodes funded and finished, a TV provider in Utah will be ready to show them.

I am begging you to help me make it happen. If you loved The Story Trek as much as you say you did, I need you to donate to You Got a Story. You can help me change the world one story at a time.

I promise you I have tried to do this on my own. You can check out Facebook and YouTube. I've done stories here and there, but I can't afford to pay a crew. But a bunch of people donating a little can make a huge impact.
