Charles was a very happy, loving, full of life individual who showed nothing but love for everyone and for life itself. He was hands down one of the most talented individuals I have had the honor of being part of my life. He loved music, playing the drums, dancing, and he could draw just about anything but specialized in portraits. You just had to give him a pencil and a white piece of paper and he would create something beautiful.
Everyone who met Charles would get Charles fully. There was nothing hidden about him. If it was on his mind, he was going to tell it to you.
He pushed everyone to be better, do better, and took no nonsense responses. No matter what you chose to do, he would be right behind you cheering you on. If no one was there for you, he would be the one to show up and be there and let you know you weren't alone. He would give you the shirt off his back just to see you succeed.
Charles was my father. Charles was my world and now the world has one less kind soul in it. On the evening of January 4, 2021, Charles unexpectedly suffered a massive heart attack and passed away at the age of 66.
We are in the process of providing Charles with a proper funeral and burial, the kind he truly deserves to honor the amazing man that he was. We are asking all of you to please consider contributing to our fund to help cover the expenses, which are currently too great for us to cover on our own.
