Help us Come Home! AK - TX
Most of y’all know that we moved to Alaska summer of ‘19... well, Connor and I are coming home now.
sob story coming at y’all quick, fast & in a hurry:
-my husband strangled me while I was driving the three of us and now he isn’t allowed to contact us
-I got a personal trainer to help me not be scared of men and he r***d me in my home. I did not and will not report him, I just want to get out of here without dealing with any more legal issues in Alaska.
-corn teen 2020, no child care and it wouldn’t be safe to drive for Lyft anyway.
-I am not eligible for unemployment because I quit my last job to move here.
We have been stranded up here alone since Feb 22 and we want to come home. I’ve done this drive once already (fairly recently ♀️) so this time I’m planning it as frugally as possible.
The drive home will take 7 days, only stopping to stretch our legs and short-sleeps at rest stops.
We have three places to stay with friends/family along the way, I’m honestly trying to stay in my car as much as possible.
I know everyone is having a hard go of it right now, so if you can help with gas money, we’d really appreciate it.
I’d love to get home in time to surprise Connor with a 5th Birthday party at his “Ongry”s house, end of June.
If we could get another stimulus check, that’s be greeeeeat, I’ll leave tomorrow.
