Inspired By the Life and Loss of Frankie Antunes

Helping families to bear the cost of their child’s funeral.

The pain from unexpected loss of a child is a pain no family should have to bear. Add to that the financial burden of the burial costs, it makes a difficult moment much more challenging.  We know, we've been there.

We are The Henzi Foundation, a nonprofit group founded to financially assist families unable to afford their child’s funeral expenses. Our ultimate goal is to help as many families as possible in the aftermath of this unimaginable loss by alleviating their financial burden. One that we know all too well after losing our Frankie (see Rachel's [email redacted]).

It is easy to find ourselves feeling helpless and unsure, especially in these uncertain times of recession and economic loss.  But, what continues to give me hope are the incredible acts of selflessness and kindness that we as a community continue to perform for one another. These acts of humanity we see around us every day shine us a bright light for all us when the world seems dark and hopeless. It is in this vein of selflessness and of humanity that I ask for your help so we can help others.

This campaign is for us to reach as many families as possible. Alone we are only able to reach a few, with small donations. Show us your support and we can help those who need it the most first.


Our Goals

What we seek through this funding request is operating expenses to help us get started towards our mission's goal. What we want to do with this funding is help get the word out, spread our message of assistance and start aligning with partners to help us bring down these costs for families in crisis. 

We are already paying for most things out of pocket, and without your pledge of support for our operating costs we will continue to do so - we are that committed to this endeavor. What we are humbly asking for is to help us advertise, print flyers, have a bank account and maybe one day hire a CPA should the donations become a "problem" to manage.

We don't want this dream to die, show us your support by giving an affordable donation. Help us;

1.   To be able to fully cater to the burial expenses of one child in 2021 (though we believe we can reach many more families with your help).
2.   To raise money to be able to meet our long-term corporate goal of funding as many funerals as possible.
3.   To reach as many people in need of help as we can.

After the loss of their precious child, families find themselves facing exorbitant funeral costs which can include embalming, casket, hearse, cemetery, headstone, and many other unforeseen costs.
