We’re reaching out to invite you to be part of a unique cultural dream: Biblioteca María Elena Walsh — the very first Argentine library in Ireland.
We are a nonprofit collective of Argentine expats united by one vision: to create a space where Argentine literature, voices, and stories can live and be shared freely on the Emerald Isle.
This is not a business — it’s a labor of love. We believe books can connect, heal, and preserve identity, especially for those far from home. Through this library, we want to turn nostalgia into community and give to everybody , a window into Argentina’s rich culture.
✨ How you can help? With your support, we can:
Build our book collection (in Spanish and English) by Argentine writers and about Argentina’s history & culture.
Host workshops, cultural activities, and talks that bring our community together.
Organize conferences and author visits to showcase Argentine voices in Ireland.
Every contribution, big or small, helps us create a welcoming cultural hub where words cross oceans and identities are celebrated.
Together, we are making history: the first Argentine library in Ireland.
With warmth and gratitude,
Biblioteca María Elena Walsh
