<div>Help Us Build DC’s Woman-Owned Comedy Club ✨
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re launching a comedy club pop up on April 4th! Vintage vibes and hilariousness.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Less than 15% of comedy clubs in the US are owned by women, and we don't like that. With comedy at the forefront of narrative-building these days, isn't it about time we had a fully woman-owned sustainable comedy club in DC?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is a woman-owned and run comedy club, starting as a POP-UP SERIES and growing into a permanent home for smart, stylish, high-quality comedy. Comedians of all genders will be showcased, and we'll have music, dance, and more. All that brings joy to our audience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is NOT charity. This is you helping seed a bold, beautiful idea and bringing a fresh creative space to a city where comedy is more important than ever.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Think vintage vibes, comedy with a touch of class, and a room that invites you to dress up, step out, and be transported. Picture a 1950s-inspired atmosphere à la The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (ish)— warm lighting, feminine touches, intentional design, and a sense that something special is about to happen the moment you walk in.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support helps us:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Launch pop-up comedy nights that feel curated, elevated, and electric
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Pay comedians and staff fairly from day one - as we always do
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Create a welcoming, inclusive space for performers and audiences alike.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Build proof of concept so we can secure a long-term home in DC
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This club is about more than laughs — it’s about connection and belonging. A place where comedy meets elegance, where community gathers, and where people feel encouraged to show up as their boldest, funniest, most confident selves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Pop-ups let us build intentionally: testing the vibe, growing the audience, and shaping a club that truly belongs to DC. Every contribution brings us closer to a permanent space where comedians can take creative risks and audiences know they’re in for something unforgettable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you believe DC deserves a comedy club that’s fully woman-owned, vintage-inspired, inclusive, and just a little glamorous — we’d love for you to be part of the beginning.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks for believing in laughter, live performance, and a very good idea.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>UPDATE: We've had 3 sold out shows since the launch in April.
</div>
<div>Next one is on September 10th. Tickets on Eventbrite at Comedy by Rola Z.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you all those who donated!
</div>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks to your generous support, we can offset set-up costs, marketing, branding, purchase decor, book great comedians and guest musicians, and secure a great DC venue. We are still building. Please keep spreading the word to keep this unique pop-up concept going and to eventually becoming a long-term comedy club.
