In January 2019, my family (my wife Julie and our four children) and I are planning to leave the UK to work in Kitwe, Zambia as missionaries.

Many children in Zambia are unable to access good quality education as their families cannot afford to pay school fees or for uniform and equipment.
Dayspring Academy will provide top class education for orphans and all children, regardless of their family’s income or circumstances.
My wife Julie, an experienced primary school teacher, will be involved in teaching in the school, and I will work on communications, fundraising and sharing these children’s stories with the world.
We will not be paid for our work in the school.
We need to raise money for air fares to Zambia and to pay rent, school fees for our eldest two children – there is no free state secondary education in Zambia – and for medical insurance.
We are trying to raise as much money as we can ourselves.
We are very aware of the financial pressures people are under, especially at this time of year, but we would appreciate any donation, whatever the size.
