Unsuccesful in our attempt for initial funding from Waterford Arts we are hoping private individuals and investors can help us make this film!
To be shot in and around Waterford and surrounding areas, Poppy Loftus is an ambitious horror comedy, written and directed by award winning playwright and actor Luke Corcoran.
“Fiadh, a failed ventriloquist must return home and take care of her ailing Mother, who the townsfolk call “Mental” Maggie. Fiadh’s never been able to find her true calling in life and always ends up back in the shadow of her childhood home. Things take a twist when paranormal activity gives Fiadh a new idea for a career, a rival paranormal team show up and both must face a deadly danger when an old forgotten childhood friend comes back to ‘play’ with Fiadh.”
