Help Us Bring the Joy of Clay to REL Artizan Studio

Hi, I’m Robyn Laycock, a Transpersonal Art Therapist, Fine Artist, and founder of REL Artizan Studio — a gentle, creative space for art therapy and sensory-based healing, located in Applecross (Walyalup/Perth).

I’m raising funds to purchase a pottery wheel and clay supplies to support the clients who come to our studio — many of whom are neurodivergent, living with disability or trauma, or simply seeking a safe, soothing space to express themselves and reconnect through creativity.

Clay is one of the most grounding and therapeutic materials we work with. It offers our clients a chance to shape their inner world with their hands — to explore movement, regulate the nervous system, and find calm through the tactile rhythm of the wheel.

We’re hoping to raise $250 to cover:

• Big W Pottery Wheel – $199.99

• Clay (10–15kg) – $40 to $50

• Basic setup supplies and trays for safe storage

While our long-term dream is to one day invest in a professional Venco pottery wheel, this affordable model is the perfect first step. It will help us begin offering wheel-based art therapy and creative healing to those who otherwise might not have access.
