Hi, my name’s Ryan Keeping.
I’m an ultramarathon runner from Canada, and this September I set a new world record by running the entire Ring Road of Iceland—1,389 km around the entire country in 14 days, 13 hours, 37 minutes, and 46 seconds. It was the most challenging and rewarding experience of my life.
But I didn’t do it alone. I had an incredible crew with me—friends, filmmakers, and supporters who gave up their own time and work to help make this possible and to document it so we can share the story with the world.
The truth is, taking on something this big comes with a huge financial commitment. Travel, gear, accommodations, and production costs added up quickly, and this trip has left me in substantial debt.
This GoFundMe is to help:
• Cover documentary production costs so the story can be told.
• Help me recoup personal expenses from the record attempt.
• Most importantly, support my team, who sacrificed so much to be there.
We would never expect support from anyone, but if you’re kind enough to donate—even $5 means the world. Every contribution goes directly to easing the burden, paying my team what they’re worth, and helping bring this story to life.
Thank you so much for believing in us, supporting the journey, and helping us share this record with the world.
With gratitude,
Ryan Keeping
