HELP US BRING OUR DAUGHTER HOME!

July of 2019, a beautiful 4.5 year old girl was placed in our care through a private agency. The intent of this placement was to find a forever home for her, for which we could potentially be one, but we didn't think we would be. Furthermore, there were no available families in her state to take her at the time, so we were phoned and because we don't like saying no to a needy child we of course said yes! Her stay turned into a whole month and as that month came to a close, we were all very sad when she was ordered to go back to her state. Because she was an out of state placement, she needed to go back for her case to proceed forward, which of course, broke our hearts.
We prayed hard, as we all fell absolutely in love with her and at the time we secretly hoped her mama would pick us to be her forever family. This little girl truly has the warmest heart. She gives the best hugs. She has the best piercing smile. And she has a whit and spunk about her that we all adore! Well, I guess you can say our prayers were heard because to our delight, on September 13th 2019, we received that wonderful phone call... her mama chose us! She fully believes we are the perfect family for her precious daughter and her daughter feels the same! And we are just thrilled!!! We met mom the day we picked up her daughter and I connected well with her. I can't disclose much but I know she loves her daughter very much and wants nothing but the best family, love and future for her daughter... something she believes she can't give her on her own.
Our oldest daughter asks about her best friend almost everyday (they're only 8 months apart!!), and we often think, how wonderful would it be for them to have each other as they grow up! We truly hope everything works out as there is a process and uncertainties to any adoption plan, but nevertheless, she is available for adoption and we badly want her to be ours. As many of you know, we are a licensed foster family and a certified Safe Family for Children (https://safe-families.org) family and our intent was not to adopt in this season of our lives, but God knows best and we trust He has a plan!
We thank you all SO much for your love, support, prayers and whatever you are led to contribute towards bringing our beautiful daughter home - we would be forever grateful! Unfortunately, we are not able to cover all the fees that go into this private adoption plan (there are many, since out of state lawyers are involved) but one thing we know for sure is that love can move mountains and we'll fight for this girl to be ours, no matter what it takes!
