Hello everyone, we are SEDA students at the Collingwood Football Club

This August, students from the Magpies Sport and Business Program will represent Collingwood Football Club on an incredible 5-day journey to Tennant Creek in the Barkly Region—about five hours north of Alice Springs.

We’re heading there not just to coach footy, but to make a real impact. Our trip focuses on promoting Australian Rules Football, mentoring young people, delivering equipment, and engaging in meaningful community initiatives. With the support of SEDA staff and students, we aim to inspire participation, share our love of the game, and contribute to the growth of grassroots footy in this remote region.

This is more than just a sporting trip—it’s an opportunity for cultural exchange, learning, and community connection. We believe in giving as much as we gain, and we’re committed to working alongside local clubs and organisations to leave a lasting positive legacy.
