Our mission at BuyDirectUSA.com over the last 22 years is to help create jobs for Americans by showcasing manufacturers producing great products made in the USA. We firmly believe that we as consumers have the power to boost US manufacturing by choosing products Made in America.
The COVID pandemic has made our mission to bring American manufacturing back home more urgent than ever by bringing to light what happens when a country moves the manufacturing of medications and medical equipment overseas to China and other countries. China has played politics with urgently needed personal protection equipment (PPE) by tightening restrictions on the exporting of medical equipment to the United States. There have been numerous articles in the news talking about corona virus testing kits coming from China that are contaminated, PPE equipment that is defective and even medications that have been recalled because of toxic contamination.
Giving these countries the ability to make lifesaving medications and medical equipment leaves Americans at the mercy of foreign governments for the health and well-being of our families and ourselves. American manufacturing has always been vital to the United States and COVID19 proved it. Manufacturing is vital for being self- sufficient, to being prosperous and for creating jobs for Americans.
The shutdown of all but essential businesses since March has made it difficult for us to continue our mission to support manufacturers who are still making their products in the USA and promote retailers who are selling made in the USA products.
While things are slowly moving forward, many small family owned businesses did not get help from the SBA and even though they are struggling, they are doing all they can to stay afloat.
One of the most important aspect of any business is advertising and marketing. If you make great products and no one knows they exist, then you won’t make sales and you won’t be in business very long.
Unfortunately, many small businesses owners who can barely pay staff do what they can to cut expenses, and they stop advertising.
We have come up with a way to help small businesses especially US manufacturers who are vital to the US, our health and national security.
Help Us, Help these small to medium sized American Manufacturers continue making their products in the USA.
Money raised will be used to continue promoting made in the USA and continue the fight to bring not only the manufacturing of medications and medical equipment back to America but to bring as much manufacturing home as possible.
For every $200 in donations that we receive, we will list a US manufacturer with less than 100 employees for free for one year on our website.
We will use the funds to help pay for a national press release to help draw more attention to our mission. If we raise more funds, we will use those to utilize additional advertising channels.
We will also use funds to keep the lights on at BuyDirectUSA.com, we are a small business as well and let’s just say the SBA funding didn’t work out for us either, but we are innovative, resilient and passionate about saving and creating jobs for Americans. We know that we have awesome patriotic supporters who will help us help others and keep manufacturing alive and well in the USA.
You can even nominate and sponsor a manufacturer in your city or state. Just let us know who they are by contacting us and be sure to make a donation as well.
