My husband and I have always dreamed of starting our own family, but our journey has been anything but easy. My husband is a stage 4 cancer survivor, and while we are grateful for his recovery, the treatment affected his fertility. For the past ten years, we have been trying to become parents, and we have undergone two unsuccessful IUI attempts. The high cost of fertility treatments has made it difficult for us to pursue IVF, and we have had to delay this important step.
Now, as I am still young at 34, we feel a sense of urgency to begin the IVF process. Age is a significant factor in a woman's reproductive system, and we want to give ourselves the best chance possible to start our family. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering the costs of IVF treatment, which is essential for us to have a chance at welcoming a child into our lives.
We invite our friends, family, and community to support us in any way they can—whether by sharing our fundraiser, offering words of encouragement, making a donation, or keeping us in your prayers. It has been a long process, and many have been there for us along the way. We truly appreciate your support, and we are grateful for your love and friendship.
It takes a village to raise a child, and sometimes it takes a village to have a child.
Each family's journey is unique, and God's love is big enough to encompass all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
