As students from the University of Puerto Rico's School of Law, we have the amazing opportunity to represent our island in the world-renowned Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition this Spring!
Nearly 100 countries compete in this influential competition and our team has advanced to the International Rounds.
In order to participate, the whole team will need to travel to Washington D.C. during the first week of April.
The effects of Maria, a category 4 hurricane, devastated Puerto Rico during an already difficult economic crisis. The damage sustained by the University, in addition to the spending cuts due to the debt crisis, have made it impossible to allocate funding to our team.
With no power, and a limited access to resources, our team continues its struggle to prepare for the decisive international rounds. Help us ensure that our preparation does not go to waste by contributing to our travel costs.
All funds collected will assist in getting our flight, housing, and transportation to and from the competition.
