Statement of Need:
Ayesha Abdussabur, (Umm Maryam), is a 63 years old widow. She lost her beloved husband, Amir Zaid (ra), a little while back. After which, she was forced to abruptly leave her home in Texas. Unable to work due to a serious eye condition, that has already caused blindness in one of her eyes, she has been living with close friends.
Through scrimping and saving, she was able to purchase a small piece of land and a small trailer. She was just informed, by the seller of the trailer, that she has thirty days to move the trailer or she will lose it. Umm Maryaam, has sacrificed much in order to make these purchases to ensure herself the basic in living.
This Champaign is designed to assist her in moving into her trailer and living comfortably once she's in it. This includes, laying the foundation on her land for her trailer to be placed on. Moving the trailer and placing it on the foundation. Making all necessary repairs to the trailer after it has been moved. Finally, moving her personal belongings from her storage, located in Texas, to her new home in Virginia. We've assessed the total cost for everything to be near to $5,000.
