Help Ukrainian Students Graduate

Hello everybody,

 

My name is Sonya Maksymenkova and I’m fundraising for myself and Stanislava Prosvetova. We are international students from Ukraine at University of Louisiana at Monroe. I am graduating in May 2023 with Computer Science degree, and Stanislava is graduating in May 2024 with a Marketing degree. We are fundraising to help cover our living expenses for the next year.

 

Due to the war that is happening right now in our country, our families are not able to help us financially with our studies as they used to. Both of us have on-campus jobs, but, unfortunately, money from them can not cover our living expenses. Rent is approximately 400$ per month each and on top of that we will have to pay utilities, insurance, phone bill, etc. That comes to us needing around 10,000$ needed to be paid over the next school year. Our tuition is partially paid by our academic and sport scholarships that we have, but everything else has to come out of our own pocket.

 

We are asking for your help, because otherwise we won’t be able to afford staying in the United States and finishing our studies.
