<div>For the past 12 hours, I have been speaking directly with friends and family in Ukraine who overnight became both refugees and displaced inside the border. They are fleeing their homes with no possessions at a moment’s notice as Russian missiles, bombs, artillery and bullets tear into the heart of my country.

<div>I am not sharing their names for fear of targeted attacks, but I know them personally, and I have spent all night trying to help them get out and find a refuge.

<div>Many more families with children are hiding now in bomb shelters and subway stations like during WW2. Many do not have anywhere to go. Others are on the road heading West and don’t know where they will end up. They don’t have enough supplies. They are losing connectivity to information. They desperately want to find their loved ones, share their stories, and stay connected to the rest of the free world. We are purchasing blankets, warm clothing, heating, lighting solutions, internet/WiFi, and battery packs.
