<div>On June 26th, Tyler went to urgent care for a bad recurring headache. Things quickly escalated, and he was rushed to the ER. They did a CT scan and found a very large, tennis ball-sized tumor.

<div>Tyler was taken to the University of Michigan where they did a biopsy. Unfortunately, the tumor is an astrocytoma, a very aggressive form of brain cancer.

<div>The Cannons just welcomed their third baby only 5 weeks ago. What was supposed to be an enjoyable maternity/paternity leave has been turned upside down. He is an amazing father, husband, police officer and friend. He doesn’t deserve this and it’s so unfair.

<div>Tyler will have an awake craniotomy next week to remove the tumor, and then he will begin treatment after that. He has a hard road ahead of him, but anyone who knows Ty knows he is going to fight hard and kick ass.

<div><strong>Julie and Tyler need our help!</strong> Tyler is a Plymouth Police Officer, but the nature of the surgery and treatment ahead of him means he is not able to work. <strong>Anything we can raise for them will go to medical expenses and extra childcare expenses for the kids.</strong>
