Our supporters have helped spread awareness of anti-Asian hate crimes and it has become even more rampant! We NEED our community to come together NOW more than ever before.
Asians With Attitudes, the movement is committed to uniting all Asians and is transitioning into a NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION to expand our capacity to support the community!! It's come to a point where simply posting on social media is simply not enough and THIS IS OUR CALL TO ACTION!!
While our members and volunteers have patrolled our Asian communities, keeping them safe, we are seeking to to unite, educate, empower and grow with our communities by hosting community events and givebacks, but in order to do that, we need YOUR help!
Funds will be used to help cover transitioning costs and fees and accounting expenses. Furthermore, funds will also be used to host community events such as community givebacks, rallies, youth camps and much more. To also assist our Asian communities financially as much as possible due to the substantial decrease in business's within the Asian community, we will ALWAYS prioritize our funds to be spent with the Asian community first and foremost. The funds will be primarily be focused on the AWA Norcal and Socal chapters, but will be expanded as our movement continues to grow!
By going non-profit, Asians With Attitudes will be eligible for any potential federal, state, or local grants to aid Asian communities across the United States as well as the ability to provide our donors with a tax deduction for their charitable gifts; a win- win for all! Lastly, to demonstrate our commitment not only to our community, but a commitment to transparency, we will keep the public informed of where funds are being spent through social media and our website once it has been completed!!
