Hi friends, family and neighbors,
This is Tuesday the Cat’s mom Colleen
I’ve started this fundraiser to help me with life saving surgery for my sweetheart little girl Tuesday the Cat. I’m only asking for $5. I hope it may add up.
I’m embarrassed to ask, but my pride can’t prevent me from asking for a little help. She’s the love of my life.
Tuesday is only 8 and has always been healthy.
She suddenly developed a golf ball size mass between her spine and shoulder blade. I immediately took her to our vet- where she was referred to oncology at a specialist veterinary hospital. There is a back up because of Covid and a lack of veterinarians- so it took 2 weeks to get her an appointment- they kept her for a cat scan. The mass, now almost the size of a tennis ball, was diagnosed as injection site sarcoma- presumably from a vaccine she got as a kitten.
It did not appear to have invaded muscles or organs- but they will be scraping some of a few vertebrae but that will not affect her recovery.
I’m single, no kids- I had the most amazing dog Rio, for 16 years-love of life. Not too long after he died- Tuesday literally walked in my back door- I think Rio sent her to me. She is the most wonderful little girl! Kind of dog-like! Extremely affectionate, loving, funny, intuitive- she keeps me smiling and positive even when times are really rough.
Your generous donations mean so very much to me and will provide such relief. The goal of $2,500 I’m hoping to reach here is much less than half of the cost of the surgery. It’s overwhelming and I so need your help.
