Hi everyone.

Tristyn was driving home from the grocery store this evening, Sept. 10th, when her car made a loud noise and started to smoke. She quickly pulled over into a parking lot and within minutes, the car was engulfed in flames. A passerby pulled over, took her into their car, and drove away from her burning vehicle while they called 911. It took around 10 minutes for the fire trucks to arrive. Needless to say, her car is a pile of burnt metal. And unfortunately, we did not have comprehensive insurance on the car.

Her car was a 2015 Kia Soul, and years ago, Kia recalled many of their vehicles due to problems with the system causing the cars to randomly combust. We took the car in and the recall was cleared. However, the car STILL spontaneously combusted. We will be looking into taking this incident to Kia.

In the meantime, she and her

doggo need a vehicle. We need help. Neither one of us is in a position to be purchasing a vehicle outright. So, any help at all would mean an awful lot.
