Help Traci Fight Throat Cancer

On November 4th, 2020 Traci went to the ENT for a sore throat that just wouldn’t go away.  On this day she was given the most devastating news that it was throat cancer , and she would need further testing to determine how  extensive the tumor was and which stage of cancer she has. This sent shock waves through my family and friends.   She immediately began to have test after test and then surgery to try and remove the cancer.  Unfortunately they were not able to get all the cancer during the surgery so more treatment needs to be done.  Her doctor recommended she go to a hospital that specializes in this type of cancer. She is now beginning the process of her treatment in Houston, Texas 1500 miles away from home.  She will need about 33 treatments of radiation and have to say in Houston this whole time. During this time she is going to have to be away from her 3 beautiful children ages 11,6 and 3 years old.  This is an extremely  emotional  time . She hasn’t  been away from her children  for more than an rare evening out  let alone 2 months without snuggles  from her favorite little  humans. Since she is not close to home she has tons of new expenses including housing and food and medical costs.  Traci will need to stay in Houston until March while she undergoes radiation treatments.   The financial burden of living expenses and numerous medical bills are the last thing she should worry about right now.  Her focus needs to be on health and happiness.
