<div>Hi, my name is Tonya Bailey and I’m humbly asking for your help. A little over two years ago I was diagnosed with what is now stage 4 Non-Hodgkin T-cell Lymphoma. Over last two years I’ve completed multiple rounds of chemo, been hospitalized and treated for various infections multiple times and suffered acute kidney damage as a result of chemo. I’ve had multiple surgeries, including three lymph nodes and my spleen removed.

<div>A recent PET scan in November showed that the cancer had spread, with new tumors in my armpit, pelvis, and abdomen. Genetic testing in November revealed that my cancer cells have mutated which is why previous treatments were unsuccessful. I’m currently receiving the CHOP chemo protocol which I started the day after Christmas, and that will be followed by an intensive (CAR) T-cell therapy.

<div>This is my second bout with cancer. I was diagnosed with a different subtype of Non Hodgkin Lymphoma back in October 2004. After a couple surgeries and a successful treatment plan of chemotherapy and a round of radiation therapy, I was told I was cancer free in April of 2006. Unfortunately, it’s back and this time it’s stubborn and much more aggressive.

<div>I’ve been unable to work for the last year and have wiped out my life savings trying to keep up. I’ve relied on the support and generosity of family and friends to scrape by, but I’m asking for your help because with mounting medical bills and being unable to work I’m struggling just to make it each month, let alone cover my healthcare costs.
