This fundraiser is for my mom. You know, the one who raised me, the one who taught me that all wounds heal eventually.
She needs our help now. After a recent fall and subsequent MRI, her world has been turned on its head as she has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer which has also traveled to the bones. My mom has always held down a job to help my dad pay the bills and now she's unable to work, spending most days in the bed due to the medication and the pain. She starts radiation on January 21, 2019 and has already racked up quite the bill from the various hospital and doctor's visits, and this is only the beginning.

I have no way to estimate the costs of all of this treatment (and please note, her income has dropped to zero) so I'm going to start the goal at $25,000 and see what happens.
