Hi my name is Anita and this is my cat Thomas J aka Tommy. Back in 2021 I took in a stray cat after someone had shot him in the face. After we found him laying there and barely clinging on to life we rushed him to the vet. The gunshot wound had shattered his lower jaw bone and he had to be confined and treated for the infection. Although the vet told us that there was no way they could remove the smaller scattered pieces of shrapnel the larger piece of bullet did come out of the exit wound. I have loved and cared for Tommy and he has become my dearest friend and my family. Tommy has thrived with the gunshot wound until recently. I had to take him back to the vet and where is jawbone didn't grow back properly it has caused his mouth to be a little crooked and some of his teeth have protruded out of his mouth and have become infected. The vet said he needs to surgically extract his infected teeth. I wouldn't normally ask of something like this, but these past few months have been really hard financially and I desperately need help to get my dearest friend feeling back to his sweet self and feeling better.
