Tommy has been diagnosed with Stage 2A Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The past 3 weeks have been filled with fear and uncertainty. A lump in his neck led to an MRI, to Children’s Hospital for a battery of blood work, more tests, follow-ups with Dana Farber, a biopsy and a PET scan and finally a Hodgkin's Lymphoma diagnosis. Thankfully, the prognosis is good but it's not going to be easy with up to 6 months of chemotherapy ahead of him.
It’s heartbreaking and cruel that this sweet little soul has to deal with this. He’s our fighter and in true Tommy fearless fashion, we have no doubt he will face this head on and come out on top. His strength is admirable and we are so proud of him for all he is and all he has yet to become. Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, you picked the wrong little dude to mess with!
