<div>I’ve been on the NHS waiting list for 5 years but still haven’t even made it through triage for my first assessment ☠️ This isn’t unusual - even by average NHS standards, trans healthcare waiting times are devastatingly long, stretching way past the legal limit.

<div>The semi-private world of Shared Care Agreements is expensive Just to get me set up &amp; able to access hormones, it could cost me up to £4,130 ‼️

<div>This money would pay private doctors for initial assessments &amp; then check-ups for the next two years and a little bit of therapy (three months) to help me manage this challenging process.
