Help Tom Recover from a Severe Eye Injury

                                                                            A warm Thank you from the Bottom of my Heart


       As life goes on its everyday path one tends to lose the thought and feeling that there are people in this world and in everyday life that
really do care and have a kindness about them deep in their hearts. People that may not have ever known you, and you may not have
known them. People you may have never met or even talked to, never spoken to them face to face or on the phone.

I found this out on March 13, of this year when I suffered a very severe eye injury at work. Now 6 months and three eye surgeries later I am finally able to return to work on limited duty and part time for the next month. 

About a week or so after my injury I found out that my co-workers, with the idea planted by Sania Morgan and set up by Jordon Li, they put together a “Go Fund Me “page. I was amazed and so thankful that they did that, but what blew me away and totally shocked me was the number of customers that contributed to it and the amount of care, well wishes and get-well thoughts that were given to me by all of you out there and the customers of Imbert & Smithers and non-customers. I was completely floored by all of it and by how many people thought about me in their everyday lives.

       I do not know how to repay you or thank you. Just saying “Thank You” seems so meek and mild, but it is the only thing I can say, and I say it from the bottom of my heart with a lot of meaning, feelings, and care. I never knew so many of you cared so much.

       I am glad to be getting back to work again and I ‘m glad to still be able to have site in my eye, even thought my site may not come back to the vision I once had, I count my blessing that I still have some site in my eye. I still have some recovering to do and I know it will take time but at least I am on the road back to recovery.

       Last but certainly not least are my co-workers. I work with an amazing group of caring, loving, and genuine people and along with my family they supported me, cared for me, and were concerned about me. They called me, supported me, and cared for me the whole time though my ordeal and are still concerned and caring for me. My family, co-workers and all my friends are utterly amazing human beings and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

       So, in closing, I want to say “Thank You” so very, very much and, you are all so unbelievably amazing people, which showed an amazing amount of care and thoughtfulness towards me.
