My step father Tom is about to begin chemo and radiation for the 2nd time in about 7 years. We recently got the bad news that it's back and its bad. The first round did so much damage to his body but we have faith that he will beat it this time around too. Unfortunately, to top it off, my mother had a major stomach surgery in February and is still healing and will be for up to 9 months or more her doctor says. Neither of them are able to work. We're asking for help for medical care, gas to get back and forth to appointments, nutrition for his feeding tube bc insurance denied to pay for it, and of course the monthly bills that don't stop coming. Tom is a carpenter and has been a hard worker his entire life and continued to up until a few weeks ago even with all the damage and pain caused from the first time he had cancer.
