Help Todd with medical expenses

September 13, 2020, changed our lives! A few weeks before, Todd began a new job and life took a turn for the best. My husband, Todd Thomas, headed out, like any other evening, to walk our dog, Luke. While on the walk, he was seriously injured as he was physically run over by a hit-and-run driver. His medical insurance had not gone into effect and medical bills are piling up.

Todd suffered multiple breaks throughout his body. Both legs were broken and a major artery in his left calf was severed. His right shoulder was broken and came completely out of the joint. Todd suffered torn tendons to his left elbow and multiple facial breaks and fractures along with a laceration across his right eyelid. He was in an induced coma because of bleeding in his brain. Praise the LORD, he is out of the coma and the bleeding has stopped.

To date, Todd has undergone eight surgeries and requires 24-hour help until he regains the use of his arms. Rehabilitation and physical therapy will be a long process. Along with medical bills piling up, the family has several areas within their home that require handicap accessible adjustments. We must complete this before they release Todd from rehab.

The process for Medicaid has begun and will hopefully help pay for a portion of the hospitals, medicines, rehab, and physical therapy bills. He is now unemployed and in need of constant care. GOD will turn this ordeal around, working it all for our good and for the glory of the LORD! (Romans 8:28) In the meantime we are asking for your help.
