HELP TOBIAS FIGHT AGAINST THROAT CANCER
Our names are Maja and Candice and we are volunteers in Kenya. We are currently located on Mfangano Island in Lake Victoria. We have come to help the local community, but there is someone here who is in particular need of immediate help.
53 year old Tobias is a husband, father of 6 children, head and breadwinner of the family. Unfortunately he is struggling with a serious illness: throat cancer with metastases to the brain. The left part of his face is paralysed, he can't see out of his left eye, he can't hear out of his left ear and he has speech problems. This man needs medical care, but the family is unable to cover the cost of his hospital stay. There is no electricity or running water in his home here on the island, these are not conditions to fight the disease.
