Help Ukrainian refugees in the Republic of Moldova
Millions of Ukrainian citizens are facing a terrible humanitarian crisis. They now urgently need medicine, food, warm clothes, shelter. Please help them now!
We are a group of volunteers from the Republic of Moldova helping refugees from Ukraine to find shelter from war. Ukraine has been subjected to aggression. Millions of Ukrainian citizens are fleeing in terror to other countries seeking asylum. In the last 4 days, more than 80.000 Ukrainian citizens have crossed the border into the Republic of Moldova.
There is a 20 km long queue of Ukrainian cars waiting to cross the border.
We help the refugees with everything they need and provide them with food and first aid supplies. The more we collect, the more we'll be able to help - particularly with the longer-term impacts of hostilities, displacement and poverty on families, children, the elderly and those with special needs.
We help Ukrainian refugees with:
- buying food and medicines
- providing people with minimum accommodation, and helping people not to overpay for rent more!
- Organise transport to take people from the border to the reception centers
- Increase the number of Volunteers at the Ukrainian Embassy to register refugees quickly.
Most of the refugees have been accommodated in Chisinau's Moldexpo center. This center was converted from a covid center to a refugee center. Warm blankets, personal hygiene products, toys for children, insulin is needed for the center. Space will run out soon, and we want to build a new reception center to make it comfortable for all. Help us with this!
