<div>My dad, has been a hardworking man since 12 years old and recently has been faced with a stage 2-3 bladder cancer diagnosis, leaving him unable to work which has not been an easy adjustment. He received his diagnosis in mid July but he found out he needs a surgery in before he can even start his chemo journey. This means he will be out of work for a lot longer than he had hoped for. He has been anxiously waiting to receive a stent in his leg, and we finally have a date for early September.

<div>So far his medical team has been acting as urgently as they can; scheduling his necessary appointments. But for my dad, being away from work has been adding even more stress that he shouldn't have during his fight for his health.
</div>

<div>My mother, and my dad's loving wife Karen is also a beloved babysitter to her small community of parents who rely on her care for their children. Once he starts chemo, it is going to become much more difficult for them as my dad's immune system will become compromised and my mom being unable to take care of kids when they are sick as flu season begins to approach us.
</div>

<div>Both of my parents are some of the kindest and most selfless people we know- and they always put others before themselves. So in this time of need, I am reaching out to our community to ask for help because it has been so hard for us seeing someone so good face this challenging battle.
</div>
