We have established a GoFundMe page to gather donations for Debbie's retirement gift. We will decide what she would appreciate most to commemorate and use in the next phase of her life.

Debbie Steen, our Alaska Refuges Chief of Visitor Services, is retiring from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on May 31. The Alaska Region of the NWRS and everyone who visited and used Alaska's National Wildlife Refuges over the past 20 years have benefited, in one way or another, from Debbie's 23 years of leadership, loyalty, and dedication to visitor services in Alaska. We are very sad to see her go, but we all know it is a well-earned retirement and how much she will truly enjoy it.
