So, who are we raising funding for, why are we raising the money and how will the funds be used?

This GoFundMe has been set up to raise money for the mother of my childhood friend.

She was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of 2018 and has been fighting the battle ever since.

Due to different complications in her condition and limitations of what the NHS can offer she received private treatment (Mistletoe therapy amongst other treatments) that proved to have a positive effect. Unfortunately, this did not completely remove the cancer from her system.

We are now at a point in which she has been given weeks to live, the only light at the end of this dark tunnel is Dendritic Cell Therapy, which comes to a total of £25,000.

The contribution you make will go towards:

- Paying for the treatment
- Increasing her quality of life
- Supporting the family

Contribution Match

In order to reach the total funding target of £25,000 we will be matching every contribution up until the target price of this fundraiser.

This means that for every £1 you donate a further £1 will be contributed up until the target price (£10,000) is reached. A total of £20,000.
