Medicine/Living costs for Sandra

Our Dear Friend Sandra,
A creative genius with a big heart who has travelled the world and given voice to oppressed people by presenting their stories with dignity and respect, who has supported so many artists and musicians with her many skills, and whatever she could give, who has always been able to see outside the box and make magic happen.
She needs our help now, her cancer has spread and she is grave pain every moment of the day. She has always been remarkably strong, but has finally reached the point where she can’t endure any longer without more support.
Doctors agree she should not have any more chemo or surgery and have nothing left to offer, beyond morphine for extreme pain. Her doctor has provided a contact for an alternative treatment clinic.
Based on what we have learned about alternative treatments, we want her to have a better chance to fight the spread of cancer, by using alternative medicines such as medicinal cannabis concentrates, and having the supports she needs… like walking the dog-Compa, when she isn’t able to, get groceries, etc. and help with rent and bills.
Alternative medicines have been known to heal cases such as hers, they can also provide safer, healing pain management, but they are not (yet) covered…
Please donate what you can to help cover her living costs and alternative medicines such as CBD’s, Lions Mane and Chagga mushrooms.
We are aiming for at least $3000 to cover these treatments over the next three months, and $1200 per month to cover the difference between social assistance and her and Compas’ actual costs of living, until she is placed in subsidized housing (or palliative care).
