- I'm a Disabled woman I've been carer for my 87 yr old Dad who has Alzhiemers sadly Social services say I've no rights concening Dad I visit him every day an hour each way I struggle, as I'm on Universal Credit the breaks & lights on my car have gone, I can't afford the repairs Dad did pay 4 repairs it's the only car we have we've asked Social Services to use Dad's money & they say NO! Apologies for asking but I've nowhere else to turn
