Help Us Find a Safe Place to Call Home

Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for this kind of help, but my family is facing homelessness and we’re desperately trying to find a way to keep some stability in our lives.

Due to circumstances out of our control, we have to move out of our current place within the next week. My two younger children will be able to stay temporarily with their dads, but my partner and I don’t have anywhere to go. On top of that, we have our two much-loved dogs, who are part of our family and we can’t imagine giving them up.

Right now, the best option we can see is to try and buy a second-hand van or caravan so that we have somewhere safe to live while we continue applying for rentals. This would give us shelter, some stability, and the ability to keep our little family (including the dogs) together during this really difficult time.

We are doing everything we can, but the reality is that setting ourselves up with a van or caravan is beyond our reach financially right now. That’s why we’ve started this GoFundMe. Any contribution, big or small, would make a huge difference and help us take one step closer to having a safe place to stay while we get back on our feet.
