It’s important to remember that each dish has a special place in the culture to which it belongs, and is special to those who prepare it. Food is a portal into culture, and it should be treated as such. We are happy and grateful to be able to offer the meals that we do. Carib Eats is more than just a tasty Caribbean-inspired meal. Since the first Sunday of lockdown.. Cooked a Caribbean Inspired Meal Delivered Chatted on the doorstep Called once a week to see how people are doing Carib Eats..more than just a meal. Our next phase is our Canteens. We have been supported by Hackney Council for a 9 week pilot. Members are asking what happens after the 9 weeks? We want and need to continue. Our dream is that the community supports the community. This is why we are asking you to share &amp; donate.   As a small organisation that is learning every day, we can't rely on grants only. We need the time to grow Carib Eats to bring in an income, to sell our food etc to &amp; support our Free food Service to continue.   Raising the funds will support us in our current phase.  We desperately need more funds now.
