Hi everyone, I’m Sabrina and I created this fund to support my Tio John. My Tio John is a 64-year-old man who has been working tirelessly to rebuild his life after spending 34 years incarcerated for a nonviolent crime. Less than a year ago, he was released from prison and started a lawn service business, Redemption Lawn Service (named to represent his reformed life after incarceration). Using the little money he made cutting lawns around the neighborhood, he slowly bought equipment and tools that would allow him to earn a living and become self-sufficient.
Sadly, on December 2nd, his hard-earned landscaping tools and equipment were stolen in the middle of the night while he was asleep. These tools were essential to his business, and without them, he has no way to provide for himself. His landscaping business provided him with the empowerment he needs to successfully integrate back into a society that has become so foreign to him.
Tio John has dedicated his life to giving back to others. Despite his struggles, he donates a portion of his small earnings to his church every Sunday and offers his lawn services to local churches. Now, he needs our help to continue his work and maintain his livelihood.
We are raising funds to replace the stolen equipment and tools so that Tio John can keep his business running and continue to survive.
After totaling the loss, it was determined that a little over $2000 worth of tools and equipment was stolen. Every penny raised will go towards replacing his equipment. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and help him get back on his feet.
Thank you for supporting Tio John in his journey to rebuild his life. Your generosity will not only help him reestablish a life for himself, but will also allow him to continue his service to the community.
