Help Tiny Dog (TD) With Vet Care & Finding A Home

This afternoon my husband saw a dog running down our street. He was able to get outside and get the dog to come to him. He’s super friendly and sweet. I posted all over social media, the neighbors app, the Nextdoor app and even left a message with the police and local vets. No one has claimed this sweetie.

A friend of mine offered to keep him until his owners were found because I already have three male dogs and I was keeping TD in a crate in my basement to keep him safe. Once she got him home she noticed he has a swollen butt, mouth issues (favoring one side and having jaw popping) and he is also not fixed. I’m not even sure if $1500 is enough, but it’s a place to start. I think he might really be a stray.

We will be calling around tomorrow to see if anyone can see him. I do not want to involve animal control and I don’t want to bring him to a shelter where he might not be properly cared for. I know the holidays are coming and money is tight but even $1 or $5 helps and adds up. Thank you for you in advance and please share!
