My name is Timothy, and in 2023 my life changed dramatically when a virus attacked my heart, leaving me with heart failure. Since then, daily tasks have become a struggle, and I often find myself feeling isolated and without purpose. The days can feel long and heavy, especially when I wake up with no one to care for or share my time with.

 I believe that bringing a basset hound into my life as an emotional support animal will give me the motivation and companionship I need to face each day. Basset hounds are calm and relaxed, and I know their gentle presence will help ground me and keep my mind focused on something positive. Caring for a loyal friend will give me a reason to get up in the morning and help me shift my focus away from my illness.

 I am raising funds to cover the costs of adoption, veterinary care, food, and supplies for my future basset hound. My journey has been long and not always filled with happiness, but I am hopeful for the future. With your support, I can welcome a new best friend into my life and find the strength to keep moving forward as I wait for my transplant.
