Help Tim Tackle Cancer

Tim Mays, if you don't know him, is a guy we should all want to call a friend or family member.  This man works hard!  He always puts his family first, and if you're a friend, you are family.  Tim is easily one of the most generous people I have ever known.  He opened his arms to me in 2006 when I asked for his daughter's hand in marriage and he has treated me like a son ever since that day.  For that reason, it is not only my duty, but an honor to work to assist him in his great time of need.  I want to be very clear.  He did not ask me to do this and he does not know that I am doing it at this point.  He is not a man to make his problems other people's to deal with.  But he could really use our help this time.
Tim will have surgery to remove his Prostate on 9/25/2017 in hope of becoming cancer free.  While he has been working hard to prepare for the 2 months of estimated recovery time, it will be difficult to recover peacefully with the burden of paying for the regular costs of living while on the shelf at home.  Knowing Tim, he will rush to get back to work.  That is why I am starting this fund.  It is my hope that with a little generosity from my wonderful friends and family that we can offer Tim a little peace of mind during his recovery.  Knowing that there will be food in the cubbard and the bills will be paid will hopefully encourage this warrior to take the time his body requires to fully recover before rushing back to work.

I have set a target of $3,600 to help my Father-in-Law get better.  This certainly won't replace his income during recovery, but it should allow him to rest easier.  Anything you can offer will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your time and consideration.
