On Thursday, February 5th, our friend Tim Kennedy was admitted to HCMC in Minneapolis with an infection in his right artificial knee. Tim had surgery on Friday, February 6th and was required to stay at the hospital over the weekend. On Monday, February 9th it was decided that Tim would need a second surgery on his knee. On Thursday, February 12th, Tim was finally released from the hospital and sent home.
Unfortunately, Tim has been out of work since Christmas and has been uninsured, which means that he and Tanya don’t have the means to cover the costs of the surgery, medications, and the required therapy to get Tim back on his feet.
Tanya works part time with several VA clinics in northern Minnesota as an independent contractor and she wants to make sure that Tim gets the possible care. She is working hard to cover daily expenses, and with the medical bills coming in she will soon be overwhelmed and unable to keep up.
If you know Tim, he’s not the type of person to willingly ask for help, which makes this request for your assistance much more urgent. All funds will go to pay the medical bills and any shortfall in living expenses while Tim recovers.
