Help Tim Fowler Fight Cancer

In June 2020 our world came to a halt.   Tim went for a routine Colonoscopy on June 24, 2020, where the physician found a large mass in the colon. The next day a CT Scan of the abdomen showed a complete blockage in the bowel and Tim was admitted to the hospital.  After undergoing extensive surgery - a colostomy was placed and a liver biopsy showed Stage 4 Colon Cancer with Mets to the Liver. Tim is 56 years old and has had absolutely no health problems at all, until now.  He was told there was no hope, he would be on Chemo for the rest of his life and when he could not take it anymore, he would receive Palliative Care.  Well, this Prognosis was NOT acceptable, for we serve a MIGHTY GOD who is the greatest physician of ALL! 

 We called Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and they accepted Tim as a patient.  After 6 rounds of Chemo Tim’s CEA level has went from 747 to 7.1 and his current CT Scan shows incredible shrinking of the tumor and mets on the liver.  

This week Tim is scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor in his colon, reverse the colostomy, insert a Liver Pump to provide chemo directly to the liver and do a “Belly Wash” to make sure there is nothing in the abdomen.  Tim’s doctors have given us a great prognosis, and they are going to continue to treat him with Systemic Chemo and Chemo directly to the liver.  Tim will travel to New York 1 or 2 times per month for treatment.  

Timothy Fowler is a good Christian man who strongly believes that God is in control.  It has been extremely difficult for him to be out of work and the burden of medical bills and expense continues to grow rapidly and with the travel expense ahead of him it will become even more difficult.  The goal is to beat this cancer, go back to work and live a normal life. Tim knows in his heart that God will make a way!We serve a powerful God and we are putting our trust and faith in Him. Tim has a loving wife and a very supportive family that wants the best for him always.  We pray for a cure and full recovery. I am humbly asking you to help this family. Fighting cancer is tough and expensive. Especially given he has to travel such a long way for treatments. Even with insurance coverage the expense has been enormous!  Please know that any help will forever be appreciated.
