<div>On August 15, 2024, our lives took an unexpected turn when Tim suffered what we initially thought was a stroke. After two weeks in the hospital and over a week in rehab, we finally received the diagnosis that would change everything: early-onset Parkinson's disease, dysautonomia, and moderate to severe dementia. For over ten years, Tim has been showing signs of what we later learned were early indicators of Parkinson's. We moved to Florida hoping to enjoy life before retirement, but life had other plans. This past year has been filled with profound loss. We’ve faced the emotional toll of Tim's diagnosis and the challenges that come with it, including financial struggles. We've sold cherished belongings, including Tim's dream vehicle, just to make ends meet. In May, we faced homelessness, but with divine intervention, we found our tiny mobile home. While we are grateful for our new home, it comes with its own set of challenges:

<div>Electrical Repairs: We cannot get homeowner insurance until we address critical electrical issues.

<div>Bathroom Accessibility: Our bathtub is unusable, forcing Tim to sit on a makeshift seat, which is not only inconvenient but unsafe.

<div>Air Conditioning: Our air conditioner broke shortly after moving in, and the repair costs are overwhelming. Tim has been managing it as best he can, but it’s not sustainable.

<div>Handicap Ramp: Tim needs a ramp to safely access our home.
</div>
<div>Flooring Issues: The carpet makes it difficult to maintain cleanliness, especially with Tim's medical needs.

<div>Tim recently received new walking crutches that have greatly improved his mobility, but he will require additional assistive devices as his condition progresses. We are reaching out to our community for support.
