<div>Those of you that know me, know I’ve always been a very independent person. Doing this has been a humbling experience to say the least. I never imagined I would have to do something like this, but here we are.

<div><strong>So I’ve recently been placed on medical leave and out of work with no pay for an unknown time period.</strong> Being the only income to support myself and home, this brings difficulties. I don’t generally like to share personal information, but if I’m asking for help, I feel I need to be transparent.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and Major Depressive Disorder.</strong> It has been manageable for many years, but in the last 2 weeks, it has become very debilitating for reasons I can’t explain because I just can’t pinpoint it, which is frustrating in itself. So for now, I’m out of work until I can get into outpatient therapy which could leave me out of work for  another 4-6 weeks. I’m also working with my pcp to find a new medication that will help relieve the hopelessness, anxiousness, and feeling of no purpose that I’m experiencing.

<div>If you are unable to give, I completely understand, but prayers are accepted as well. I also hope this helps bring awareness to mental health. It can be anyone you know or are related to. Extend grace, understanding, and kindness when you can because not all smiles are true smiles.
